The Eastern Sierra offers some of the most un-California-like scenery in California.  The area starting near Lone Pine in the south through the Mammoth Lakes area in the north is road biking heaven, with high desert and sagebrush, pine forests, and possibly alpine lakes and early summer snow.  This year’s rides included climbs to Onion Valley, Rock Creek, and Tioga Pass.
